The tangy richness of freshly picked blackcurrant berries and lively accents of flowery rose petals create this light, floral, and feminine scent.

How to burn the backhouse:

+ Burn candle within sight and on a flat surface

+ Keep away from pets, little ones & combustibles

+ Burn on a heat resistant surface

+ Before relighting, trim wick 1/4" and remove loose pieces

+ Stop burning when only 1/4” of wax remains

+ Don’t burn for more than 4 hours at a time. It will be tough, but trust us on this one.

We use a proprietary wax blend, phthalate-free premium fragrance oil, and lead-free wick.

Shipping:

We only ship within the United States. All orders are processed and shipped from our backhouse in Newport Beach within 2–4 business days. Once shipped, continental domestic orders may take 2–4 days to arrive, dependent on location. Alaska and Hawaii may take a bit longer. Backhouse prefers UPS ground shipping (estimated 1–4 days) but might use Fedex Ground/2-day or USPS in some instances.

Returns:

We will gladly accept returns/exchanges on any items that are in their original condition along with all packaging. Please email us at [email protected] with your request for return and we’ll issue a Return Authorization Form with a Return Authorization Number (RA#), along with instructions for returning your candle.

Beautiful smelling Candle perfect for Christmas, burns across the top evenly if you allow long enough for it to do so. Their packaging is always pretty with little personal touches added (a note, a sample, etc.)

My new favorite candles, look no further. I have several of these and also gave 12 of the Mr. Douglas scent as early Christmas Gifts to friends. Everyone is now obsessed with these candles. Perfect, fresh holiday scent

I received this as a hostess gift at Thanksgiving and I am officially obsessed! The scent is light and sweet without being overpowering. I thought the Lido was my favorite scent of all...but this one may take the cake! These are not just any candles...they burn very clean and VERY long. I bought this Limited Edition Mr. Douglas for myself to see if I like it as much as the OG Mr. Douglas. I love it! It’s so pretty and festive with the white glass and gold foil. It smells like a real Christmas tree. I bought Thymes famous Fraser Fir for years until I discovered Mr. Douglas. I highly suggest it to anyone looking to add a true Christmas Tree Lot scent to their home. And, the packaging makes it a beautiful gift, too!
