How to burn the backhouse:

+ Burn candle within sight and on a flat surface

+ Keep away from pets, little ones & combustibles

+ Burn on a heat resistant surface

+ Before relighting, trim wick 1/4" and remove loose pieces

+ Stop burning when only 1/4” of wax remains

+ Don’t burn for more than 4 hours at a time. It will be tough, but trust us on this one.

We use a proprietary blended soy/vegetable wax, phthalate-free premium fragrance oil, and lead-free wick.

Shipping:

We only ship within the United States. All orders are processed and shipped from our backhouse in Newport Beach within 2–4 business days. Once shipped, continental domestic orders may take 2–4 days to arrive, dependent on location. Alaska and Hawaii may take a bit longer. Backhouse prefers UPS ground shipping (estimated 1–4 days) but might use Fedex Ground/2-day or USPS in some instances.

Returns:

We will gladly accept returns/exchanges on any items that are in their original condition along with all packaging. Please email us at hello@backhousefragrances.com with your request for return and we’ll issue a Return Authorization Form with a Return Authorization Number (RA#), along with instructions for returning your candle.

My favorite!

Love all these candles but Little Branch is my favorite. The scent is noticeable but not over powering. I love the wax they use. It burns clean and slow. Lovely aesthetic as well.

This is my favorite candle ever!

All of the scents I ordered are wonderful. Purchase came packaged securely, although 2 of the candles were not sealed like the other 6 candles and one of the boxes telescoped inside the bottom container so I cannot gift it in the box.

This candle is wonderful. It smells very fresh, earthy and sophisticated. I’m burning it in my loft which I also use as my office when I work from home. It has moderate throw and the packaging is classic. I will definitely purchase again! Thank you backhouse!

In all our years together, I have burned many candles, Little Branch is the ONLY candle my husband has ever stopped to comment how good our house smells lol. Beautiful modern smell

This smells awesome. I didn’t want anything that smelled too fruity or “bath and bodyworks”. The glass jar is a nice substantial weight. I took a risk ordering without smelling in person but this is perfect. Will be buying for friends!

I found MY scent!

I'm one of those people that goes into a store that has a million fun options and walks out with a candle. I LOVE candles. But I am always looking for my scent. You know - the one you can smell day in and day out and be ok with it. The scent that makes you excited to welcome people into your home because you KNOW it smells good. THE scent. Well, I found it....Little Branch. I don't know how else to say that this candle smells good...like really good...and it doesn't go away after you burn it. In fact, if you just want a hint of smell, you don't have to burn it at all. Honestly, I'm so impressed not just at the smell but the packaging it came in and the size of it. HOLY BIG CANDLE FOR $30! Ok. I'll stop now. Buy it...

The absolute best candles in every way!!!

I have been buying backhouse candles for a little over a year now. Saw someone’s Instagram post about them and since I am truly a candle lover and always have one burning in my home I thought I would order a few and try them and that was it for me. Haven’t bought another brand of candle since. Little Branch is exceptional in every way. The glass hurricane jars in and of themselves are a work of art. The smell. Omg the smell of these. And quite frankly all of their candles will blow your mind. So beautiful and aromatic but not overpowering or ever intrusive. I have brought their small tin candles as well and love those for smaller rooms and travel! Truly so in love with these candles and love doing business with them as well. Will be buying for years to come!!

Little Branch has such a warm and charming scent. I've never had so many compliments on a candle before. If you are looking to try backhouse for the first time I suggest starting with Little Branch. Little Branch has become an obsession in my house. It is hands down the only candle scent each of my family member can agree on. The amber notes are beautifully masculine and transform the energy of every room we burn it in!
