love love love these candles!

I’ve been ordering this candle for years and love gifting it to family and friends. The scent is both soft and bold.

Everyone one of the candles have a great burn time as described and the fragrance is spot on not over powering but just right!!

This isn't just my favorite Backhouse candle, it's my favorite candle PERIOD. It's like walking through a blossoming orange grove - clean, natural, great throw without being overpowering. I burn it all year and especially look forward to it in January, when I've been burning Jack and Mr. Douglas (also faves!) but am ready to return to this beauty. Love!

Hello, i was excited to try something new, but was disappointed when I tried a more expensive candle and I still have not smelled anything . I purchased the Grove candle. Not sure if I received a bad one but I have asked several people do they smell anything and they also said that they don't. Fir the price I was expecting a very wealthy aroma.

I grew up in south Florida. In occasion my dad would take us to the Orange groves for walks. It was the best smell ever; I’ve long maintained that is how heaven must smell. I was elated when I finally found this candle - the first one that actually smells like orange blossoms. I will continue to buy this. Great product!

I also grew up in OC and we were surrounded by Orange Groves. This is that fragrance of California. I love this candle!!! I hope you restock soon makes a great spring or summer gift..

This candle smells lovely. It’s fresh and delicate smelling. It smells just like the orange blossoms in the SoCal wine country where we live. This is a future repurchase!

It is one of the most calming scents and the candle lasts a long time, even after I’ve burned it for hours for most days of the week.

You've heard of arm candy, well the backhouse fragrances are candle candy. What I mean is that they are so beautiful, so fragrant, so elegant, they are just fabulous!
The quality is evident from the old fashioned sincere customer service, to the simply elegant gift boxes and bows that are sent with gift orders. I sent my sister the double hurricane gift box with two "Grove" Candles. It came beautifully boxed with a gorgeous and elegant bow. The scent of the candles wafted out as she opened the gift. Orange blossom is her fave (and mine) which is why I selected the "Grove". Truly incredible even to sit unburned on your counter - as you walk by the smell makes you happy. We sampled several other candles (did a little "candle tasting") and had a very hard time choosing between the many beautiful fragrances. I highly recommend Backhouse Fragrances. And we truly had fun with my idea of the candle tasting! (we just kept smelling them then lighting various smaller versions of the candles, and yes wine was involved, of course)!

I discovered Backhouse candles on IG during the 2020 holiday season and my first purchase was Mr. Douglas. After a difficult year, it was such an amazing gift and a beautiful “scent” in my home for the holidays.

I have made several purchases since then and most recently decided to send the Backhouse Grove candle to a dear friend who is grieving the loss of her father.

This is one of the best candles I have ever bought. It lasts FOREVER, and the throw is amazing! This candle fills your whole home and is such a fresh clean scent. I'm just now about to make another order. Also the packaging is so beautiful.

After years of buying Alixx and Nest candles for our homes, I am a dedicated Backhouse fan. The Grove is a light, fragrant, and reminiscent candle which takes me back to crossing the Florida State line and opening the car window to smell the orange groves in bloom. I am so smitten with this candle and look forward to trying Lido and Apolena after reading such wonderful reviews. Oh, and the handwritten note from Danielle? So sweet and genuine. I grew up around orange groves in south Florida. This candle is the closest I have smelled. Light but strong. This is my new go to candle after a stressful day. Just ordered another one.

I love this candle. The scent is light, but still noticeable. It makes our home smell happy. What I especially love is that the scent is so true. There is no mistaking that it is orange blossom. It feels natural and is a joy to burn.

I buy a lot of candles and from various companies but this scent and backhouse are my new favorites. Such a fresh scent and the candle has a great throw. Burns evenly, all around the glass so no waste.

This candle scent is as close to the little white orange blossom flowers (on the actual tree) as I have ever smelled...it is so lovely and light...a perfect lead into springtime. A lovely background scent...not too overwhelming!

I've just received my very first Backhouse candle & it is fragrant & lovely & it is making my room feel sooooo extravagant. It's been a rainy New England spring, the blossoms are budding outside my drippy windowpane, but this scented candle is keeping the room inside dreamy while I work (artist)& make masks for family & friends.
